Greenbacker Renewable Opportunity Zone Fund (GROZ) is the second fund established by Greenbacker and advised by Greenbacker Capital Management LLC. GROZ invests in renewable energy and other businesses located in qualified opportunity zones (QOZs) in order to capture the potential growth from, and tax advantages offered under, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. While these tax benefits are significant, the 10-year investment required for the maximum benefits is perfectly suited to the experience and specific skills of the Greenbacker team, as well as the structure of our fund and the products we offer.
